Exciting news - Buttercup delivered her second litter of kittens today! She gave birth to a total of six lovely little bengals. Five of these will be available for adoption as we plan to keep one of the girl kittens as our second breeding queen. In this littler are 3 snow spot boys, 1 brown marble boy, 1 brown spot girl, and 1 snow marble girl.

Of the three snow spot boys, we have discovered distinct pattern traits to help us identify which one is which. For example, one of them has very distinctive cheek patterns, another has interesting shoulder markings, and the other a darker patterned tail.

The brown marble boy has a stunning black coat, with eye-popping stripes down his back.

We were very fortunate that our children were able to watch a bit of the birthing process with this litter. What an amazing time for them to ask questions and experience real-life science. Imagine our three year old's excitement as he rushed off to tell his daddy, "She's squeezin another out!"
