We have just one lovely kitty remaining from our most recent mating of Buttercup. We call him Skimbleshanks, or Skimbles for short. Of course, you may call him what you like. ;)
Anyhow, Skimbles has actually learned to play fetch! Recently my wife took this (rather yellow!) cameraphone video of Skimbles at his new game. We hope you enjoy! We sure do...
Interested in learning more about Skimbleshanks? Contact us today as we would love to tell you more about him.

In July 2009, we brought our newest addition to Pouncival Bengals home, our future breeding girl named Owlsdene Trinity Blue. Trinity is a beautiful, sleek snow marble girl with very pretty blue eyes and only three paws. She was introduced to our home right around the time that Buttercup delivered her July litter. Poor Trinity came to the house to a very pregnant, very moody Buttercup.
Fast forward the clock a month later, and now there are 6 new kittens beginning to explore the house. At first, Trinity had no idea how to respond to these little creatures. She hissed at them because they smelled like Buttercup, and ran away when they overcame their fear and tried to sniff her out. Trinity was still scared of Buttercup, and Trinity was scared of the babies, but the kittens didn't seem to notice. During that period, Trinity and Wesley formed a friendship. Soon those two were often seen chasing each other through the house, especially up and down the stairs. Some of the kittens watched Trinity and Wesley at play and wanted to join in. It took what seemed forever for Trinity to let down her guard, but one day, there was some rough and tumble, playful yet letting them know who was higher on the chain of command than they were, interactions between Trinity and several kittens.
Buttercup around this time began calling again. She still nursed her babies, but at times was too busy pacing the house and peering out the windows. The kittens were so confused by Buttercup's on and off again nursing so we decided it was time for them to be weaned! During this time, Trinity stepped in and began being their "surrogate" mother. When Buttercup was out of the picture, she cleaned them, cuddled them. The kittens were so forlorn wanting their mummy, they began trying to nurse on Trinity! Strangely enough, she let them!
One day we found all 6 kittens, attempting to nurse frantically on Trinity. She stretched out across a dining chair and let them nurse on her for almost an hour. Unbelievable!! They fell asleep while attached to Trinity. We were all astounded and had to take pictures. Trinity and the kittens formed a very close bond, and still to this day, they can all be found napping together, or occasionally attempting to nurse Trinity. She will be such a good mother soon! She loves on them, cleans them,Trinity even backs off on eating her food when several kittens are pushing to eat out of the same bowl, so they can have it. We know she will be a spectacular mum, and are very happy to have her as part of the Pouncival family.
On 15 July 2009, Buttercup delivered her most recent litter of kittens. This time to our surprise, 5 were snows and only 1 brown. Of the 5 snow kittens, they consist of two snow marble boys, two snow spot boys, and one snow spot girl. The brown is a brown spotted girl.
Our famiily really enjoys watching the babies grow from totally dependant, into very curious month-old kittens beginning to explore their small world. It is so much fun to watch them discover their tales, paws, and learn how to coordinate their paws to walk and then gallop around the bedroom. At this stage, their personalities are blossoming. Eventually the kittens are introduced to dry kitten food and then the litter tray, and eventually are given the freedom to discover the big world which is the rest of the house.
With this litter, we named the 6 kittens all names from the musical CATS. The two snow marble boys are Growltiger and Tumblebrutus. These two are night and day different in their colouring, but very similar in thier desire to be the first ones to go where no kitten has gone before, to explore new horizons. They are the most adventerous of the bunch. Next are the two snow spot boys, Macavity and Skimbleshanks. Macavity has one brown mark behind his front shoulder, while Skimbleshanks has two brown marks. The snow spot girl we named Grizzabella (aka Grizzy). And last but not least, our brown spot kitten we named Jennyanydots (Jenny for short).
This litter of kittens all have spectacular, loving personalities. They are outgoing, sociable, love to cuddle and run and play. These kittens are perfect pets and will adore you endlessly. They are ready to be rehomed around the first week / mid November 2009.
We are pleased to announce we will soon be welcoming into our home our second breeding girl, Owlsdene Trinity Blue.
Trinity will be joining the Thompson Family at the beginning of July. She is a beautiful Snow Marble Bengal with gorgeous blue eyes. Due to an unfortunate accident on the day she was born, Trinity lost her front right paw. However, as she was little miss three paws from day one she bounds about without a care in the world just like a kitten with all feet and toes intact.
We fell in love with Trinity while visiting our breeding mentor, Owlsdene Bengals. And we soon decided that due to her spectacular patterning and form, she would make a wonderful breeding girl and a very special part of our family. Our children are very anxiously awaiting the arrival of this lovely little kitten into our home.
Trinity is just three months old now and will ready for her first mating in approximately 7 months.
We regret to inform you that all of the kittens from Buttercup's second litter have been reserved. Our last lovely snow spotted boy found it's new owner today! However, we also wanted to let you know that more kittens will be available soon! Buttercup's last mating was successful and we shall have more newborn kittens in late July. In the meantime, please visit the available kittens page of our mentoring breeder, Owlsdene Bengals.
