1 Owlsdene Bengals
Owlsdene Bengals was the source of our first 2 Bengal kittens, Buttercup & Wesley, and is also the breeder we use for all our matings.

Liz Richmond-Watson of Owlsdene Bengals has become not only a good friend, but also a mentor for our small breeding programme. She has shared with us her passion for the breed, her dedication to hygienic and compassionate breeding practices, and her love for Bengal cats. We have learned much about Bengals and their breeding under her guidance. Thank you for sharing your passion for Bengals with us, Liz!

If you do not find what you are looking for at Thompson Family Bengals, then we recommend Owlsdene Bengals as your next vist. Owlsdene Bengals is based in Oxfordshire just outside of Henley-on-Thames, conveniently located between the M4 & M40 and within 25 minutes of Heathrow.
2 The Bengal Cat Club
The Bengal Cat Club was founded in 1993 to cater exclusively for the Bengal Cat and became affiliated to the GCCF in October 1996. By the end of 1998, we had over 300 members and today this has risen to over 500. Each member agrees to adhere to the Club’s Code of Conduct and to the GCCF Code of Ethics that all affiliated clubs have agreed to accept. The Club played a key role in the successful application for Preliminary recognition of the breed by the GCCF that was granted in June 1997.

The Bengal Cat Club was formed to offer advice and assistance to club members and owners on the welfare and breeding of Bengal Cats. The Bengal breed was introduced into the UK in the early 1990s and has quickly gained huge popularity because of the excellent temperament and unique nature of the breed. A regional list of Bengal breeders who are members of the Club is available on request.
3 Freedom Fence
Freedom Fence allows your pets to enjoy the full run of your garden and grounds all day, whether you are with them or not and thus hugely improve the quality of their lives. The Freedom Fence pet containment system is a radio fence and not an electric fencing system. Our friend Liz from Owlsdene Bengals has joined the Freedom Fence team as their cat expert. We are happy to discuss Freedom Fence more with you. Liz is available to assist in installations and talk through the process of training your cats.
4 Da Bird Cat Toys
The Da Bird is the greatest interactive feather toy for cats, proudly produced by GO-CAT and now sold in the United Kingdom. Over a million of the Da Bird toys have been sold. This aerodynamically designed toy mimics the motion of a real bird in flight. NO CAT CAN RESIST IT! It is recommended by veterinarians as a great way for your cat to exercise. We specifically believe Da Bird to be the best interactive toy in the world. As part of our kitten pack, you will recieve your own Da Bird toy and refill feather for the enjoyment of both you and your Bengal.
5 Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF)
The GCCF is the primary governing body of the Cat Fancy in the United Kingdom - the feline equivalent of the Kennel Club.
6 The International Cat Association (TICA) UK
The International Cat Association (TICA) is an international cat registry and show sanctioning organisation that has licensed TICA shows in the UK since 2004.
7 Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB)
The Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB) is a wonderful source for a wide spectrum of feline facts, advice, and support for owners, breeders, and exhibitors alike. Every cat owner should visit this site often to educate themselves and to better understand the feline companions in your life.
